What makes us different.
Traditional apprenticeships can last a few years with no clear structure — leaving you second-guessing your progress, doing admin work, and mopping floors instead of actually tattooing.
Short-term programs swing to the other extreme — most wrap up in 1–2 weeks and leave you on your own before you're ready. Ours is built differently: with continued studio access, one-on-one coaching, and training in the branding and social media skills you need to turn tattooing into a real career.
Our mission is simple: create artists who are ready for the real world — technically sharp, business-minded, and backed by a community that stays with you long after the program ends.

Student stories
Real people. Real results.
"It's never too late to start. If you're too scared or just need a little push — this is your sign."
She knew since high school that she wanted to be a tattoo artist — but kept holding back. She finally took the leap, pushed through the long hours and mental breakdowns, and found it completely worth it. Now she wakes up every day excited to create.
This could be the decision that changes everything.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Do I need any art or tattoo experience?
No experience needed. The mentorship is built to take you from zero to working artist, starting with the fundamentals and building up from there.
Is this remote, in-person, or both?
Both are required. In-person studio time is paired with online learning — we don't offer a stand-alone online mentorship. The studio is located at 230 Lakeshore Rd E, Unit 305, Mississauga, ON L5G 1G7.
Does the mentorship teach you a specific style?
No, we don't teach a specific style. We train our students to build a strong basic foundation of tattooing — which includes lining, shading, packing, color work, and composition — which they can then use to transfer into any specific style they choose.
Who is the mentor?
Rye Clarin (Lead Mentor) — tattoo artist, educator, and founder of Dear Vincent Studio. Follow him on Instagram or visit fadedcanvas.ca.
Suzanne — co-mentor and program graduate, now tattooing professionally at the studio. Follow her on Instagram.
